FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ: FAQ

WHAT DOES A LIFE COACH ACTUALLY DO?

A coach motivates and encourages people to achieve particular professional or personal goals. Coaching is routed in the present with an eye on the future which is where it differs distinctly from counselling which usually refers back to past experiences or trauma. Coaching is not about giving advice or administering therapy but supporting people to create an accountable framework that helps them remain focussed on what is truly important to them.

HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S RIGHT FOR ME?

Coaches all have their particular skills and specialisms and frequently refer to each other if they believe they are a better fit for a potential client. Coaching is there to benefit people so should never be a ruthless money making scheme. My initial introductory call is free of charge and then we can then discuss your goals and aspirations and see if it is right for you. Genuinely no obligation.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

One size does definitely not fit all.  I offer a range of fees and packages to suit most budgets, it really will depend on where our starting point is and what we are looking to achieve. Give me a call and we can discuss it further.

WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS

I have CIPD accredited diplomas in both Life Coaching and Counselling, allied to an extensive career as a coach, trainer and tutor helping individuals and organisations achieve their goals. I have worked as an associate facilitator with a variety training providers as well as on public sector employability and wellbeing programmes.
